Lenin monument was vandalized in a city in Russia
In Vladivostok, an anonymous man used a marker to deface a bust of Vladimir Lenin. He was recorded by surveillance cameras and became a defendant in a criminal case, as reported by the Telegram channel “Prosecutor's Office of the Primorsky Territory”.
On the evening of Thursday, November 7, a man wrote an inscription with a marker pen on the monument to the Soviet leader on Partizansky Avenue. Now the offender is charged with vandalism. The prosecutor's office promised to follow up on the identification and detention of this man.
Previously, in the city of Tobolsk, Tyumen region, communists broke the fingers of the new Lenin monument even before it was officially inaugurated. The statue was broken during transportation.
