According to the publication, as part of the organizational structure change, he will take over as president of FNPR. The second leadership position will be given to the current vice president of the Federation, Sergei Chernogaev. It remains unclear how exactly power will be distributed among them.

It was clarified that the personnel changes in the organization will be announced on Tuesday, October 29, at the extraordinary congress of the FNPR.

In April, FNPR proposed to change the way the minimum wage (minimum wage) is calculated. The organization's president, Mikhail Shmkov, noted that they support Russian President Vladimir Putin's proposal to increase the minimum wage to 35 thousand rubles by 2030.
