Deputy Gavrilov: A “boat amnesty” should be organized for houseboat owners

In Russia, it is necessary to organize a “boat amnesty” for owners of houseboats (boat storage facilities) so that they can participate in various programs to legalize such objects. This was stated by Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Property, Land and Property Relations Sergei Gavrilov (Communist Party of the Russian Federation) in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Proposed “boat amnesty” for the Russians

“Of course, in the long term, owners of such real estate will have the opportunity to participate in various legalization programs, such as the legal provision of “amnesty,” he noted. for the boat”.

According to the deputy minister, programs are being created in some regions to solve the problem of such “problem real estate”. In particular, it is proposed to rebuild them or replace them with modern complexes.

“But of course it would be better to impose a 'boat amnesty' throughout the country,” Gavrilov said. In addition, attention should be paid to the fact that houseboats are not rented to tourists as housing, but are used for their intended purpose – to accommodate boats, the MP emphasized. “Therefore, it is necessary to create legal opportunities to establish legal order along the coasts of water bodies,” Gavrilov added.

On October 29, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law expanding the “dacha amnesty” to include outbuildings, including baths and warehouses. Now owners of summer cottages will be able to simply register outbuildings. We are talking specifically about capital construction projects with foundations.
