Alexander Mitta's son denied rumors that the director's condition was deteriorating
The son of director Alexander Mitta, Evgeniy Mitta, spoke about the happiness of his 91-year-old father. He was quoted by the Moscow agency.
According to Mitta Jr., information about the degradation of the People's Artist of the Russian Federation is untrue. He added that the father feels fine.
“This is completely false information. Everything is fine with us,” assured Evgeniy Mitta.
Alexander Mitta is the director of the films: “Shine, Shine, My Star”, “Crew”, “The Tale of How Tsar Peter Married the Arab”, the series “Border. Taiga Romance” and other paintings.
In mid-November 2023, Alexander Mitta was diagnosed with recurrent strokes, nephritis and heart disease.
A day earlier, the Mash Telegram channel reported that the director had been placed on palliative status. The director is said to be unable to walk on his own but he needs to undergo a check-up due to cancer, the channel said.
