The head of the republic, Sergei Aksenov, announced this at a meeting of the board of directors of the regional government.

“We will restore the bridge by 2025,” Aksenov said.

Preliminary restoration work is estimated at 180 million rubles.

The collapse of the road bridge on the section Dzhankoy – Maslovo village occurred at around 8:00 p.m. on November 13. The cause was because the overloaded truck stopped at a traffic intersection. The bridge collapsed under its weight. At that time, the truck driver and the car driver who were crossing the bridge were both injured.

Part of the truck's body was torn off due to the impact. The car fell and overturned. Rescuers released both drivers. Clearing the rubble at the site of the collapse continued throughout the night, involving more than 100 people and 16 pieces of equipment.

Until 11 a.m. this morning, trains will continue to operate in the emergency area. Road workers will then continue to dismantle the collapsed bridge outside the tracks.
